Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village, NYC. Also, one of the scenes filmed in "When Harry Met Sally," one of my favorite movies.
View from street side of the Highline in NYC. A 1 1/2 mile linear park, full of pretty views and lush greenery. There are also many little restaurants dotted along the line below, so you can stop and grab a drink or dinner before heading back up to finish the walk. I highly recommend the Red Cat. It's a bit pricey and typically requires reservations, but it's cozy for a romantic date night.
Statue of Liberty- a bucket list item when in NYC. Just a quick ferry ride over to Liberty Island and you're set. Grab the headset for a personal audio tour and stroll along at your own pace. Reservations are typically required for access inside the Statue of Liberty.
Times Square! Take a seat on the bleachers; this is the best spot for people watching. And trust me, it's a kick. ;)
